History
|
Fatih Sultan Mehmet Foundation University Architectural Conservation-Restoration Master's Program with Thesis in 2012-2013 academic year began education and training.
|
Qualification Awarded
|
Students who have successfully completed the Master Program with Thesis are awarded with a Master of Architectural Conservation-Restoration (with thesis) degree.
|
Admission Requirements
|
According to the admission conditions determined by YÖK; Students who have graduated from the related field, who have taken at least 55 of ALES Numerical score type and who have succeeded in the oral and written examinations of the institute, are accepted.

Higher Grade Transition
|
Upon successful completion of the Master of Science program, students can study in their respective fields or in related fields.
|
Graduation Requirements
To graduate from this program, not less than 60 ECTS credits in one academic year
At least 8 courses and thesis work including seminar course, at least 120 ECTS credits must be successfully completed, successful in thesis exam and other conditions required for graduation determined by the Senate should be provided.

Occupational Profiles of Graduates
Students who graduate from the program will be able to work as restoration and conservation applications of traditional buildings in office or construction site, in public institutions and institutions, as academic staff in academic institutions, in research centers, as experts in conservation centers, as scientific advisors / journalists in press organs.

Assessment and Grading
|
In this program; different assessment methods such as midterm, homework, application, survey, restitution and restoration projects and end-of-term exam are applied. Assessment methods include the classical exam, multiple choice exams, homework, performance evaluation and product evaluation.
