About Programme
|
The main objective of our Master of Law program is to comprehend the essence and evolution of private law rules; ability to develop and analyze national and international legal technology. The concept of in-depth connected planning, designing both programs, designes the foundation of private law discipline, conducts analyzes, conducts original research, and develops writing skills for academic articles.

|
Fatih Sultan Mehmet Vakıf University Graduate School of Private Law has started its education in 2016-2017 academic year.

Qualification Awarded
|
Students who have successfully completed the Master Program with Thesis are awarded with a Master of Laws (with Thesis) degree.
|
Admission Requirements
|
According to the admission conditions determined by YÖK; Students who have graduated from Faculty of Law, who have at least 55 ALES Equal Weight points, who have succeeded in the oral and written examinations of the institute, are accepted.
|
Higher Grade Transition
|
Graduated students are eligible to apply for a doctoral program in the field of private law, as long as they are able to fulfill the other conditions set by the relevant institutes.
|
Graduation Requirements
|
This program consists of at least seven courses, a minimum of 90 ECTS credits, a seminar, a proposal of the relevant institute branch, and other learning activities and thesis studies determined by the decision of the institute board of directors.

Occupational Profiles of Graduates
|
Graduates have the opportunity to work in all areas of the law profession. It is also possible to acquire high-level positions in state organs.

Assessment and Grading
|
There is four type of exams: midterms, final exam, re-take exam and make-up exam. Project, homework and similar work which is done during the semester can also be substituted for midterm exam. The lecturers decide how mid terms and projects will effect the final exam and finally passing mark. Every first week of semester these information relevant the proportion of grades will be announced by the lecturers.
