About Programme
|
Fatih Sultan Mehmet Vakıf University Clinical Psychology Graduate Program aims to train clinical psychology specialists who are equipped with theoretical and practical knowledge and skills, and possess social and ethical responsibilities. Students will be provided courses from different orientations in terms of clinical theory, intense supervision to enhance clinical practice, and research courses and practice opportunities. Clinical Psychology Graduate Program is based on a "scientist-practitioner" model. The clinical/theoretical approach of the program is integrative.

Clinical Psychology Master's Degree Master of Science (Thesis) degree is awarded to the level completed successfully.

Admission Requirements
|
First Cycle (Bachelor's Degree) diploma; a minimum score of 55 from the Academic Graduate Education Entrance Examination (ALES) in the related field or GRE/GMAT equivalent; a minimum score of 50 from the Foreign Language Exams (ÜDS/KPDS/YDS/e-YDS/YÖKDİL) or from equivalent foreign language proficiency exam approved by OSYM or a minimum score of 55 from DEU School of Foreign Languages English Proficiency Test. Transcript; a minimum score of 65 from the graduate school academic proficiency exam.

Graduation Requirements
|
Second Cycle (Masters Degree) Program with thesis is comprised of courses (at least 53 ECTS), a seminar (3 ECTS) and field study (4 ECTS) and thesis (60 ECTS), in total 120 ECTS credits. Students must have minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 2.50/4.00 and completed all the courses with at least CB/S/TP grades.

Occupational Profiles of Graduates
|
The related master's degree enables the holder to exercise the profession. They may specifically apply to academic and scientific associations such as Turkish Historical Association as a researcher or master in a field; public and private universities as research assistant and lecturer or master in a field; state and private schools as teachers; and, press and mass-media companies.

Assessment and Grading
Evaluation and assessment methods for each course is defined in the the Course Description Form which is prepared by related faculty member / s and included in the information package. Exams and course success notes is subject to the relevant articles of the FSMVU Regulation on Graduate Education.
