Qualification Awarded
|
Students who have successfully completed the Master Program with Thesis are awarded with a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Engineering.

Admission Requirements
According to the admission conditions determined by YOK; Students who have graduated from the related field, who have taken ALES score type and who have succeeded in the oral and written examinations of the institute, are accepted.

Graduation Requirements
There are courses on many topics including Computer Science, Software Architecture and Techniques, Advanced Algorithm Techniques, Modern Computer Architectures, Computer Networks Design and Analysis, Computer Security, Project Management, Data Mining Techniques, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Intelligent Systems. It is obligatory to take at least 60 ECTS, 7 courses and 1 seminar course in the Master's curriculum. Students who successfully complete the courses have to write a Master's Thesis of 60 ECTS for two semesters. The Master's program consists of a total of 120 ECTS. The doctorate course program consists of 21 credits and at least 240 ECTS, including at least 7 graduate courses, seminars, thesis proposal, proficiency exam and thesis work, provided that it is not less than 60 ECTS in one academic year.

Occupational Profiles of Graduates
|
Graduates of this doctorate program are expected to build their career on consulting or research & development of computing and information systems in various sectors. They can work either in private or public companies in the field of computing and information technologies or they can continue to their career in academia.

Assessment and Grading
|
G (Pass/Successful) grade indicates that the student has been successful / satisfactory in a course or activity. K (Fail/Unsuccessful) grade indicates that the student has been unsuccessful / unsatisfactory in a course or activity. M (Exemption) grade indicates that the student have exemption for the previous program courses which are deemed equivalent to the courses offered in the program. Decision for the course exemption is made by the relevant faculty committee. G, K and M grades aren’t included in the CGPA (AGNO). E (Incomplete) grade indicates that the faculty member who carries out the course hasn’t entered the grade into the automation system. These grades are entered into the system by the decision of the execute board of the institute.
