Engelliler için Destek Programı özel gereksinimli bireylerin toplumsal, sosyal ve akademik yaşantıya uyum sağlayarak bağımsız yaşam becerileri geliştirmelerine destek verecek yardımcı öğreticiler yetiştirmek amacıyla açılmıştır. programda teori ve uygulama birlikte yürütülecek olup, mezuniyet için 120 AKTS lik ders ve uygulamadan başarılı olmak gerekmektedir. Programı başarıyla tamamlayarak mezun olan bireyler gölge öğretici olarak özel sektörde ve özel eğitim kurumları ile özel eğitim ve kaynaştırma sınıflarında görev alabileceklerdir.

Our program, which was opened under the name of Support Program for the Disabled in the 2020-2021 Academic Year, was named Trainer Traning Program for Individuals with Special Needs. Our program, which is the first program established under this name in Turkey, graduates by taking both theoretical and practical courses on special education and individuals with special needs.

Graduation Requirements
Students who have completed their associate/undergraduate education must have a minimum AGNO of 2.00 (CC) in order to graduate. It is obligatory for each student to register for the courses at the beginning of the semester and to attend the courses in order to take the final exam. Students are subjected to at least one midterm and final exam for each course. Success grade; The contribution of the midterm exam (the scores obtained from measurement tools such as homework, laboratory exam, practice, etc. can also be taken into consideration) and the contribution of the final exam are determined by calculating. The weight of midterm and general exams is determined by the instructor who teaches the course, with a weight of 40%-70%. In addition, students are required to complete a total of 120 ECTS credits.

They can be matched with institutions and families where they can work as shadow instructors in public schools, special education subclasses, special education support rooms, etc., pre-school institutions, Rehabilitation Centers affiliated to the Ministry of National Education.

Assessment and Grading
(1)Exams; It consists of a quiz, mid-term exam, final/year-end exam, make-up exam, make-up exam, single course exam and additional exams. Make-up exams are held if the Senate approves. The make-up exam grade replaces the end-of-term/end-of-year exam grade of the relevant course.
(2) At the beginning of the semester, the instructor of each course informs the students in writing about the weights of the midterm exams, quizzes, homework, practice and other studies that the students are responsible for in the semester grade. The impact rate of these exams in the semester grade cannot be less than 40% or more than 70%. Impact rates of exams for courses conducted through distance education; It is 30% in exams held via remote access and 70% in face-to-face final exams.
(3) There is no obligation to inform students about quizzes beforehand. Mid-term and end-of-term/end-of-year exams are held within the exam periods following the normal education program and included in the academic calendar. The end-of-term/end-of-year exam schedule is announced on the date stipulated in the academic calendar. A final exam is held for all courses, except for courses such as project and laboratory courses that do not require an exam by the relevant administrative board due to their nature. In obligatory cases, exams can be held on weekends. Additional exams are the exam rights granted to students in accordance with the rules determined in the additional exam and additional time application principles at the end of the maximum education period. The dates of the midterm, end of term/year and additional exams and the places where the exams will be held are determined and announced by the relevant administrative boards. Students are required to take the exams at predetermined dates and places, and to have their identity document and other required documents or auxiliary course tools with them when taking the exam.
(4) Students who cannot take midterm exams for justified and valid reasons must notify their excuses in writing to the relevant dean's office/directorship within three working days following the end of their excuses. Students whose excuses are found justified and valid by the relevant administrative board use their midterm exam rights on a date to be determined by the instructor. Exams taken within the reporting period are deemed invalid. If the student who is ill and gets a report after taking the exam attends the second exam on the same day, the report time is taken into account. Exams taken before the reporting time are considered valid. Excuses are not accepted in case of not being able to attend the end of term/end of year, make-up and process-related exams.
(5) During the exam periods, a maximum of three exams can be made on the same day for the courses of the program and semester in which the student is registered.
(6) It is essential that the exams are conducted in written form. However, depending on the situation and need, the exams can be given as written and oral/practical with the decision of the relevant unit's board of directors.
(7) Students who cheat, attempt to cheat or help cheat in exams and students who are found to cheat or help during the evaluation of the exam papers are deemed unsuccessful and the provisions of the relevant legislation are applied.
(8) Exam documents are kept for at least two years.
