History

Fatih Sultan Mehmet Vakif University was established with the decision by the Foundations Assembly of the Turkish Directorate General of Foundations, dated 25.08.2009 and numbered 487/406 and the law no. 5981 dated 15.04.2010. Our faculty and department with its distinguished academic staff and dynamic structure are launched in 2021.

Students who graduate from this program are awarded a Bachelor of Arts degree.

Admission Requirements
|
Students are admitted to the program through exams and placements organized by ÖSYM (Student Selection and Placement Center) in line with the relevant regulations-directives determined by YÖK (Council of Higher Education). Students with Intra-University and Inter-Institutional Transfer are admitted within the framework of the regulations determined by the university senate from among the candidates who have applied to the university and meet the conditions for the international student status and the minimum admission qualifications.

Graduation Requirements
|
Students who fulfill the conditions specified in the FSM Vakıf University Associate and Undergraduate Education-Teaching and Examination Regulations, complete the courses required in the registered program with a GPA of at least 2.00, and fulfill their obligations such as internship, graduation project, if any, are awarded a bachelor's degree.

Occupational Profiles of Graduates
|
Graduates of the program can be employed in state and non-state sectors such as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, private corporations, national and international media companies, research institutions, and civil society organizations.

Assessment and Grading
|
In this program, assessment, evaluation and grading are carried out within the framework of FSM Vakıf University Associate Degree and Undergraduate Education Regulations.
