About Programme
|
On the one hand, we aim to educate our students on history science, on the one hand, on research methods and on the literature, while on the other hand they are educated as individuals who can be considered as historical ones by increasing their intellectual accumulation, but also by evaluating current, social-political and cultural developments. The main aims of our department are to educate the future historians and educators, as well as to enable students to continue their graduate studies in other fields of social sciences with the equipment they have gained.

History
The university started its education in 2010-2011 academic year.
|
Qualification Awarded
|
Students are awarded with a Bachelor's Degree in History upon successful completion of all the requirements in the curriculum programme and fulfilling all other requirements for graduation.

Admission Requirements
|
The admission to History program is based on the results of the Central Placement Examination administered by OSYM.
|
Higher Grade Transition
|
Graduates with the Bachelor's Degree in History may apply to second and third cycle programs in the related fields.
|
Graduation Requirements
|
A student is required to have a minimum CGPA of 2.00/4.00 and no failing grades.
|
Occupational Profiles of Graduates
|
Graduates can be employed in institutions like academia, research centers, archives, museums, libraries. They can pursue an academic career. Graduates having pedagogy certificate have also potential to become a history teacher in privite and public schools.

Assessment and Grading
|
The assessment of the examination have been carried out according to regulations of FSMVU Bachelor’s Degree Education.
