About Programme
|
Literature and works of art of the countries which have deep-rooted culture and civilization are comparatively valuable. Researching and studying these are required a serious education. In department of Turkish Language and Literature, almost all subjects of Turkish Language and literature such as events, concepts, literary genres and persons are discussed by using scientific methods, modern theories and approaches. There are undergraduate, master, and doctorate's levels in department of Turkish Language and Literature. Our undergraduate program is composed of Old Turkic Language, Modern Turkish Language, Classical Turkish Literature, Modern Turkish Literature, and Turkish Folk Literature.

History
The university started its education in 2010-2011 academic year.

Qualification Awarded
|
Students are awarded with a Bachelor's Degree in Turkish Language and Literature upon successful completion of all the requirements in the curriculum programme and fulfilling all other requirements for graduation.

Admission Requirements
|
The admission to Turkish Language and Literature program is based on the results of the Central Placement Examination administered by OSYM.
|
Higher Grade Transition
|
Graduates with the Bachelor's Degree in Turkish Language and Literature may apply to second and third cycle programs in the related fields.

Graduation Requirements
|
Students who have successfully completed all courses of the programme, 240 ECTS credits, are given Bachelor's Degree in Turkish Language and Literature

Occupational Profiles of Graduates
|
Students earn the Turkish Language and Literature undergraduate degree can be employed in graduate programs or several positions in visual and written media, culture and art organizations, and business world.

Assessment and Grading
|
The assessment of the examination have been carried out according to regulations of FSMVU Bachelor’s Degree Education.
