About Programme
Havacılık Bölümü, dünya çapında hızla büyüyüp gelişen ve stratejik öneme sahip havacılık sektörüne uygun nitelikli insan gücü ve yönetici yetiştirmeyi amaçlayan bir lisans programıdır. Bölümümüz, havacılık endüstrisinin yönetim, planlama, operasyon ve stratejik karar alma süreçlerine dair geniş kapsamlı bir eğitim sunarken, ayrıca hem ileri düzey yabancı dil hem de güvenlikten operasyonel verimliliğe, müşteri memnuniyetinden finansal performansa kadar geniş bir yelpazede stratejik katkı sağlayacak istatistiki yetkinlik kazandıracak bir müfredata sahiptir. Müfredat dersleri, öğrencilerimize havacılık sektörünün karmaşık yapısını kavramalarını ve bu sektörde etkin bir şekilde görev alabilmelerini sağlamak için özenle oluşturulmuştur. Böylece mezunlarımız elde edecekleri bilgi ve becerilerle sektördeki güncel gelişmeleri takip edebilecek ve yenilikçi çözümler üretebilecek, mesleki anlamda sahip olacakları yetkinliklerinin yanı sıra sosyal ve etik sorumluluklarının da farkında olacağı havacılık sektöründe fark yaratma potansiyeline sahip lider ve yöneticiler olacaktır.

History
Aviation Management Department was established in 2024 and started its activities with the first transition in the 2024-2025 academic year.
Qualification Awarded
Students who successfully complete the Aviation Management program will be awarded the title of Aviation Manager and/or Aviation Management Specialist and will receive a Bachelor’s Degree in Aviation Management.
Admission Requirements
The Aviation Management Department admits students based on the results of the exams administered by the Student Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM).
Higher Grade Transition
Aviation Management graduates can pursue master’s and doctoral studies in Aviation and Aviation Management disciplines, as well as in Business and Management Sciences. Additionally, they can continue their academic careers in aviation-focused Engineering and Technology disciplines (such as Meteorology) by engaging in graduate studies and research activities.
Graduation Requirements
In order to graduate from the program, students must successfully complete the preparatory program (if applicable) and fulfill all requirements of the four-year curriculum, including all compulsory courses as well as the required number of elective courses within and outside the field. Students must also attend classes regularly and pass the examinations for these courses. At the end of the education period, they are required to successfully complete 240 ECTS credits and fulfill the mandatory internship requirement.

The dynamic, innovative, and rapidly growing aviation sector demands a highly qualified workforce, and the need for new graduates in this field continues to increase each day. In response to this demand, Aviation Management graduates have access to a wide range of career opportunities in various areas of the global aviation industry. They can work in management, operations, logistics, finance, and security, and as the aviation industry continues to expand, employment prospects are expected to grow even further. Our graduates can pursue careers in private and public airline companies, airports, ground handling service providers, catering companies, cargo operations, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), and aviation training institutions. Additionally, they have the opportunity to advance their academic careers by continuing their professional journey at universities. Moreover, the rapid developments, increasing demand, and global expansion of the aviation industry offer graduates international career prospects as well.
Assessment and Grading
In our department, exams, measurement and evaluation are carried out in accordance with the rules determined in our university's "Associate and Undergraduate Education and Training" and "Foreign Languages ??Department English Preparatory Program Education and Training" regulations.
