Qualification Awarded
Students who successfully complete this program will be awarded a Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Systems. Graduates will acquire competencies in information systems, business management, and data analytics, preparing them for active roles in the business world.

Admission Requirements
|
Candidates must take the YGS, LYS (TM 1), or DGS exams conducted by ÖSYM and achieve a sufficient score to make their program preferences. Placement procedures are carried out centrally by ÖSYM. Candidates who have completed their high school education abroad may also be admitted to the program, provided they meet the requirements set by the university. In addition, transfers to the program can be made within the framework of Fatih Sultan Mehmet Foundation University's Associate and Undergraduate Transfer Regulations.

Higher Grade Transition
Students who successfully complete the program may apply for master's degree programs. They can pursue further academic studies in fields such as information technologies, data science, business administration, and related disciplines.

Graduation Requirements
According to the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS), which must be applied in all universities in our country, an undergraduate student must take at least 240 ECTS courses to graduate.
In the undergraduate programs of all universities in Turkey, a student must have a Weighted Grade Point Average (GPA) of at least 2.00 in order to graduate.

Graduates of the Management Information Systems program have extensive career opportunities due to their expertise in information technology and business management. They can work in roles such as:
Systems Analyst IT Manager Data Analyst Project Manager ERP and CRM Specialist Cybersecurity Specialist Digital Transformation Consultant Graduates are employed in both public and private sectors, including technology firms, banks, healthcare, logistics, and other industries.

Assessment and Grading
(1) Exams consist of quizzes, midterm exams, final exams, make-up exams, excuse exams, single course exams and additional exams. Make-up exams are held if the Senate approves. The make-up exam grade replaces the final exam grade of the related course.
(2) At the beginning of the semester, the instructor of each course announces to the students in writing the weight of the midterm exams, quizzes, homework, practice and other studies that the students are responsible for in the semester grade. The effect rate of these exams in the semester grade cannot be less than 40% and more than 70%. The effect rates of the exams for the courses conducted through distance education are 30% for the exams conducted through distance access and 70% for the final exams conducted face-to-face.
(3) Quizzes do not have to be announced to students in advance. Midterm and final exams are held within the exam periods following the normal education program and included in the academic calendar. The end-of-semester/end-of-year exam schedule is announced on the date stipulated in the academic calendar. End-of-semester exams are held for all courses except for courses such as project and laboratory courses, which are not required to be examined by the relevant board of directors due to their nature. In mandatory cases, exams can be held on weekends. Additional exams are the exam rights granted to students at the end of the maximum period of study in accordance with the rules determined in the additional exam and additional time application principles. The dates of the midterm, final/end-of-semester and supplementary exams and the places where the exams will be held are determined and announced by the relevant administrative boards. Students are obliged to take the exams on the predetermined dates and places, and to have their identity documents and other documents or auxiliary teaching aids with them while taking the exams.
(4) Students who cannot take the midterm exams for justified and valid reasons must notify the relevant dean's office / directorate in writing within three business days following the end of their excuse. Students whose excuses are found justified and valid by the relevant board of directors use their midterm exam rights on a date to be determined by the instructor. Exams taken during the report period are considered invalid. If a student who gets sick after taking the exam and receives a report, the time of the report is taken into account if the student takes the second exam on the same day. Exams taken before the report time are considered valid. No excuse is accepted in case of not being able to attend the exams of the end of semester/year-end, make-up and process-based courses.
(5) During the exam periods, a maximum of three exams can be held on the same day from the courses of the program and semester in which the student is enrolled.
(6) It is essential to conduct exams in writing. However, depending on the situation and need, exams can also be held in written and oral/practical form with the decision of the relevant unit board of directors.
(7) Students who cheat, attempt to cheat or assist in cheating during the exams and students who are found to have cheated or assisted in cheating during the evaluation of the exam papers are deemed unsuccessful and the provisions of the relevant legislation are applied to them.
(8) Examination documents are kept for at least two years.
