History

The Cyber Security Program was established in 2025 and started to admit students in the Fall semester of the 2025-2026 academic year.

Admission Requirements
|
Program accepts students according to the TYT score type with the central exam conducted by the Measurement, Selection and Placement Center Presidency (ÖSYM).
|
Higher Grade Transition
|
Our graduates can complete their undergraduate education by passing to some 4-year programs with the Dikey Geçiş Exam (DGS) conducted by ÖSYM.
|
Graduation Requirements
|
In order to graduate from the program, the GPA must be at least 2.00, at least 120 ECTS course load must be completed, and there must be no failed courses.

Occupational Profiles of Graduates
|
Our students who graduated from the Cyber Security Program can work as system security specialists, data processing specialists, system support specialists, system and network consultant, programmer, database administrator in organizations where electronic information is valuable, especially in the information sector, and which includes internet and e-mail services, multi-user computer systems, computer networks, electronic commerce, and distance education and so on.
